To motivate children towards sports alongside academics, Akal Academy located at village Phaphre Bhai observed its 5th Athletic meet in which Academy houses Ajay, Abhay, Amul and Atul houses’ students participated.
The participating students competed at Kho-Kho, 100 Meter, 200 Meter, Frog-Jump, Long Jump, High Jump and several other sports to thrill the audience. This sensitizing tournament, where the little wonder players gave their hardcore performances, on the other hand, the creative lot presented & entertained the audience with their cultural program performances.
The satirical play on growing Drug-Alcohol Addiction amongst youth in Punjab was the main attraction of the event, the play propagated the message of de-addiction to youth whilst also promoting education amongst village children especially girl child.
The portrayal of several creative & interesting techniques to curb drug-alcohol addictions and athletic races of students’ parents & school drivers’ gave a memorable & exciting conclusion to the event.
At the conclusion ceremony, the winning players were presented with awards by the special invited chief guest ‘Sabka’ member S.G.P.C Manjeet Singh Bapiana and Bhai Desa Academy Principal Gurjeet Kaur alongside other present special guests, in form of mementos.
Towards conclusion, the Principal of the school, S. Satvinder Kaur specially thanked the parents of the students alongside all other guests for their presence & great enthusiasm shown during the tournament and towards the players.
