ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ‘ਚ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਖੇਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ

ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਟ੍ਰਸਟ ਬੜੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਚੀਮਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਬ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ) ਵਿਖੇ ੧੮ਵਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਖੇਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਡਾ. ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ਼ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਸੁਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਅੰਡਰ -੧੭ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਅਭੈ ਹਾਊਸ, ਬਾਸਕਿਟ ਬਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਅਜੈ ਹਾਊਸ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਲੀਬਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਅਮੁੱਲ ਹਾਊਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਰਿਲੇਅ ਰੇਸ, ੧੦੦ ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ, ੨੦੦ ਮੀਟਰ ਅਤੇ ੪੦੦ ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ, ਲੰਮੀ ਛਾਲ, ਉੱਚੀ ਛਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ।ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਗਰੁੱਪ ‘ਚ ਸਰਬੋਤਮ ਐਥਲੀਟ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਚੋਂ ਅਮੁੱਲ ਹਾਊਸ ਦੀ ਧਰਮਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਚੋਂ ਅਭੈ ਹਾਊਸ ਦੇ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ।

ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਅਰ ਗਰੁੱਪ ‘ਚ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਚੋਂ ਅਮੁੱਲ ਹਾਊਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਮਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਚੋਂ ਅਭੈ ਹਾਊਸ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਬੋਤਮ ਐਥਲੀਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ।ਓਵਰ ਆਲ ਟ੍ਰਾਫ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਅਮੁੱਲ ਹਾਊਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਡਾ. ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਆਖਿਆਂ ਕਿ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਅਨਿਖੜਵਾਂ ਅੰਗ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਰੀਰਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।

ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਾਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਹੋਡਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਆਦਿ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ।

The Birthday of India’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Popularly called Chacha by the children was celebrated as “BAL DIWAS” in Akal Academy Gomtipul.

In order to celebrate this “BAL MELA” in its true spirit the Children from classes Nursery to XII were given a free hand to think and organize the Mela as per their own imagination and perceptions, the teachers shared and shouldered equal responsibilities and extended free support to conduct this programme in a very smooth, safe and cheerful manner.

On November 14, 2014 all the students as well as the teachers dressed in uniforms started pouring in the lush green and well Cleaned School playground after finishing the usual morning school routine. The bright and cosy beams of the morning sun gave much relief to the foggy and cold morning weather. The day was clear and allowed the people to enjoy the Mela to the fullest. While on Central, eastern and western sides of the playground, beautiful coloured tents were pitched, popularly known as a “Stalls”.

Northern end was used as “EXIT and ENTRANCE” with the main stage erected in the centre for the Welcome and Reception of the Chief Guest and the other influential Academy Well – Wishers.

The southern end was left for the different “GAMES STALL”. At about 10, the students were given permission to set up their allotted stalls with different types of items assigned to them. The stalls were presented with a vivid look. While a row of stalls with different eatables were emitting tempting and mouth – watering fragrance. Cold drinks and Ice Cream stalls were the busiest stalls with people ranging from children to old ones.

Art and Craft stalls were busy and crowded spot and the first to be emptied as all the handmade items were sold hand to hand in the early hours. “Flower Stall” witnessed crowded scenes as people thronged in numbers to purchase a variety of flowers.

Merry-go-Rounds did not halt throughout the day as more and more peopled ventured to enjoy it. “Balloon Shop” and “Toy Shop” with “Gun Shot” stall was the hot spot for the children of middle Classes. By mid-day,the ground was Jam-packed.

The distinguished guests of the area and invites appreciated the arrangements and the commendable efforts put in by both the students and staff members. They praised the school management for teaching and providing working knowledge to the students how to trade in a different situation in today’s fast changing economic Scenario.

Principal thanked all those gathered for boosting the morale of the students and the children as well. She appealed the people to be always in contact with the school authority for the smooth run of the school.

Students of Akal Academy Ghugg celebrated Gurpurab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in spiritual fervor. Students in bowed heads and joined hands pay their obeisance to Guru Sahib and their divine attire added to the glory of this auspicious day.

Kirtan by students echoed all over, beautifully praising the Great Guru. Bhog of Sehaj Path was followed by Ardaas and Guru ka Langar.

To bring out the creativity and the artistic talents among school students, a drawing competition “SPLASH 2014” was conducted at Akal Academy Gomtipul on 15 November 2014.

Organised by Axis Bank, over 68 Students from Class VI to VIII participated in the competition exhibiting their creative skills in the various topics like- India in 2030, Mission Mars and World Peace. Students proved that they not only excel in academics, but also shine in exhibiting their skills by their creative presentations.

The winners for the competition were decided by the Assistant Branch Manager Mr.Shailendra Wadia. The winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals along with gift hampers and certificates of winning the competition. All the participants were further motivated by the certificates of participation.

Sportive activities including various competitive physical activities which, through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants, and in some cases, spectators. Students participated enthusiastically in the various kinds of interesting races and bagged various positions.

The day began with the Samapti bhog of 128 Sehaj Paths and 11 Akhand paths, for keeping up the spirit of ‘Sarbat Da Bhala’ and for the wellbeing of the society. Students of Akal Academy voluntary took up the sewa of the ongoing paths.

The Bhog was followed by Ardaas which was done by Baba Iqbal Singh ji, who enriched the sangat with precious ‘Gurmat vichaar’.

Kirtan was rendered by various Ragi-Jatha and students to add on to the auspicious occasion.

Baba Iqbal Singh ji highlighted “The principal motive of establishing Akal Academies in the rural regions is to impart value-based education to the children so that they grow up to become professionals with a humanistic approach.”

The spiritual education along with modern scientific education being imparted in the Akal Academies is saving the youth from being entangled in the social vices like alcoholism, drug-addiction and foeticide.

Poems by the students and inspiring speeches by the teachers honoring Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj added to the sanctity of the day.

Kirtan Darbar echoed with the sweet voices of the innocent children singings the praises of the Great guru! It was a delight to watch these enlightened souls of paying homage in their own ways to Guru Sahib!

Praising the memoir of eternal majesty of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji who lived in this corporeal world to show humanity the path of virtuous life, and gave his simple and vibrant principles of life, “Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, and Vand Chhako.

Celebrating 527th birthday of Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Devji with devotional fervor, Akal Academy Kajri School Management, staff, students and parent fraternity assembled in the school Darbar Sahib hall where the Bhog of Akhand paath Sahib was performed amid huge sangat. School teachers and students rendered Shabad Kirtan, life and vision of Shri Guru Nanak Devji was presented through diverse activities. Akal Academy Gomti Gurdwara Raagi Jatha performed Shabad Kirtan.

Baba Nirmal Singh Ji of Nanakpuri, Bhai Kewal Singh Ji Raagi Jatha, and Katha Vachak from Nanakmatta sahib Gurudwara also gave their performances. Principal Mrs Siimran Kaur Thind, staff and students gave their immense contribution in the programme.

Art is not what you see but what you make others experience. The most unique and exciting event of the day was Art craft Exhibition cum Trade Fair organized by the school for the purpose of raising charity for the poor and less privileged children studying at Akal Academy Baru Sahib. Artistically designed hand made stuff made from waste products were displayed.

Decorated bottles, plastic decorative pieces, woollen handicraft, paper Mache items pulled huge gathering.
Gurmat Exhibition held up by School Divinity and Art craft Dept was centre of attraction.
