A group of Sikh engineers have created a technology called ‘smart pages technology’ to prevent the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The engineers say the technology sounds an alarm every time an ang is either torn, set on fire, or when Guru Sahib’s saroop is thrown on the ground.

The development of the technology comes after over 60 incidents of sacrilege in Punjab where Guru Sahib’s saroops were torn, stolen, and set on fire by miscreants.

What the engineers say:

Desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji has caused immense pain to each and every sikh throughout the world. What an individual sikh can do in this matter is to contribute at his own level and to innovate if possible.

We are to make Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib with integrated smart-page technology, which would sound alarm in the room of sevadar wirelessly who can then catch the culprit without even letting him know! The raw working model is attached below. The model demonstrates the protection of desecration in one way i.e., if page is torn. The remaining possibilities can also be included easily like: if saroop is set to fire, if thrown on ground, etc.

We want to make it very clear that saroop of Guru Sahib would remain as it is, in appearance, weight or any other aspect. Also the energy requirements would be very less.

So now what all is required is that if you want such hi-tech Saroops to be installed in the Gurdwara of your locality/village then inbox us. We are to release this technology soon. Prototypes are ready.
Thanks.
