Students of Akal Academy, Theh Kalandar presented a skit to display the importance of water and it’s how its wastage & scarcity can have serious ill effects on the environment. Students were educated on useful conservation tips on water.

All students are given equal opportunities to enhance their stage performance skills.

The skit aimed to create awareness among children about the need of conserving the precious resource water and involving them in this Noble Cause. Such Activities are a great way to get students and teachers involved in educating their families, communities and schools. Schools or classrooms conduct at least one in-school activity and one outreach activity of their choosing to explore protection and conservation.

Like, Every year Akal Academy Gomtipul celebrated the programme of Baisakhi on 14-04-2015 with full zeal and religious attributes.

The function was celebrated with the teamwork of school management, staff members, students and sang at. All the students of the academy celebrated the Khalsa Sirjana Divas week. On 11-04-2015, students from Class VII-XII participated in the poem composition titled as “Khalsa Sirjna Divas”

On 12-04-2015, Akhand Path Sahib had commenced, bhog of Akhand Path Sahib and 21 Sehaj Path Sahib (by students and staff) was conducted on 14th April approximately at 10:30 am in the morning.

After the bhog there were special Baisakhi celebration Samagam which included Shabad kirtan, several religious poems, speech, Vaars and Kavishri sung by the students of Akal Academy Gomtipul. Students of class Nursery to XII participated in the programme. The Programme of school Students, Ardaas wand Langar was organized for students and Sangat.

Gagandeep Singh has been working as Tennis coach in Akal Academy Baru Sahib since 2011. Having a coaching experience of 12yrs & an umpiring experience for 8yrs, He has been offering the best of his training services & skills to the students of Baru Sahib.

His Personal Training has helped the students to lead in many state level competitions and made them won many trophies & national awards. He works hard along with the students so that they can explore the best out of their potential. Akal Academy Baru Sahib has always had a strong sporting tradition and students enjoy excellent sporting facilities. Students are guided by a team of professional members.

Having served as a line umpire in five International Events, Gagandeep was recently chosen for his sixth International Tennis Competition – Fed Cup which is considered the World Cup of Tennis. Among 23 Umpires he is the Only Sikh umpire.

Fed Cup by BNP Paribas is the women’s premier international team tennis event. This prestigious event, which is one of the cornerstones of the tennis calendar, gives players the chance to represent their country in an otherwise individual sport.

Launched as the Federation Cup in 1963 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the ITF, it has continued to attract the best players in the women’s game.

On the eve of Baisakhi, Every spring, with a devotional grace, the students of Akal Academy Kalloh bands together in Chardi Kala – high spirits – to celebrate the Birth of the Khalsa during the annual Baisakhi Celebration. The spring hearkens the energies of hope, creation, renewal and freshness.

The tiny tots were witnessed marching into the hall with chanting and drumming, a timeless reminder of this warrior path – the path of the fearless human devoted to service and kindness. It was a bliss to watch them performing with devotional shabads, poems and displaying their talents. The activity hall brimmed with divine grace. The dignitaries spoke appreciating the efforts put in by the students making it a glorious event.

In April 1699, Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Guru of the Sikhs, created the Khalsa – a majestic kind of human devoted to Seva (selfless service), Simran (constant remembrance of the Infinite), Bana (the distinct attire) and Bani (recitation of prayers). With the Khalsa, he created a nation of warrior saints – fearless humans whose only armor is compassion.

And for Sikhs, the springtime is a personal reminder of their individual commitment to what it means to be Khalsa – humans of high consciousness and purity of heart; humans dedicated to serving humanity and raising the vibration of the planet.

With every step, and every humble act of the students, pouring their innocent thoughts on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, the untold blessings the Guru were bestowed upon the innocent blooming flowers of Akal Academy.

Students rendered Kirtan in their melodious voices which added to the divinity.

“Silver Zone International Olympiad”, New Delhi organized competitions of English, Mathematics & Science subjects on an International Level for the students of various schools. In this competition, students from 1st to 10th class of Akal Academy Cheema Sahib (E.M) participated.

159 students participated in competitions of Mathematics and among them, 16 students won Gold Medals, 23 students bagged Silver Medals and 14 students got Bronze medals.

Among all the students Manvir Singh, Udhay Singh, Paras Garg & Narinder Kaur acquired 4th Rank in Olympiad. Lakhwinder Singh, Raman Goyal, Prabhjot Kaur students of 10th Class bagged 16th International Rank.

Similarly, In Science competition, 72 students participated among them 17 students outshined with various positions. 7 students won Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals. Sahil Singla acquired 4th Rank in Olympiad.

Moreover, in English competition 52 students participated and 6 students won Gold, 6 students Silver and 4 students won Bronze Medals.

On this event, Mrs. Baljeet Kaur Principal of Akal Academy Cheema Sahib congratulated all the students & inspired them for their bright future. Certificates, Medals, Wrist watches, Pens etc. were distributed among the students for keeping up that motivational spirit.

On this event, the students were rewarded by worthy Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji Barna Wale and S. Amrik Singh Rehal U.K wale at Gurdwara Janamasthan Cheema Sahib.

On 21st March 2015, Annual Fiesta was organised at Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan.

The landscape was blooming with color and music mingled with the happy chatter and cacophony of young colorfully dressed kids of all ages.

The event was a combination of a display of a blend of talent, mutual love and coordination of divine little souls accompanied by speeches of prestigious guests, prize distributions, Shabad – Kirtans, educational/historic skits and much more Chief manager S.Jaivinder Singh attended the event along with 10 trainee teachers.

Dr. Kanwarpal Singh Dhugga, the land donar of AA Dhugga Kalan and Mr. Amrik Singh,the land donor of AA Chahal Kalan presided over the function as chief guests. Bouquets and trophies were presented to both the land donors by the chief manager.

The function started with shabad, religious poems, and songs sung by our tiny tots who really enthralled the atmosphere with their pious thinking. Dhaddi varan was also performed by senior students. Looking at little kids all dressed in colours was a feast to the eyes.

The dignitaries spoke on the function and prayed for the prosperity and growth of the school. Cluster head and the guests appreciated the efforts of the students & teachers who contributed in making it a great success.

Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan school Management staff and students were praised for their great endeavor to enliven the message of Great Gurus and visionary saints who paved the way to lead the future generation on the path of universal truth, karma and Dharma. Importance of teachers and parents working hand-in-hand for the development of the children’s personality was also stressed upon.

It was a step forward to help one and all experience Oneness, diversity, colorful talents and successful Akal Academy change makers and much more.

Stage amidst great weather witnessed the hidden talent being uncovered in little flowers that bloomed in the rural backdrop of Hoshiarpur.
