Blessed are those hands that humbly serve Vaheguru ji.
Blessed are those feet that gracefully walk towards our Guru ji.
Blessed are those lips that sweetly sing Gurbani.
Blessed are those hearts that kindly share sacred love.
Blessed are those lives that wholeheartedly embrace Akaal’s divine gift of amrit.

Keertan (devotional singing) touches the soul, plays the strings of the heart, and touches inner-chords connected to Vaheguru ji. With delicate precision, it shatters veils that submerge our minds in illusions, pierces light through our ignorance, embraces our hearts with peace, and reunites us with our true Beloved. Singing ambrosial bani in the presence of Guru ji, the heart yearns to drink amrit, merge with the One, and forever stay attuned to His sweet charran (feet). Rare are those blessed souls who drink the nectar of amrit from within and sing in harmony with the unstruck melody. Their presence in sangat elevates the flow of energy, quiets the mind, and further opens the heart to receive pure love from the divine, universal soul.

This month brings with it a rich tapestry of commitment, dedication, and profound reminders to reflect upon the lives that we lead. It is in this month that our dharam pitta ji, Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaaj, bestowed divine blessings upon our beloved panj pyaare who wholeheartedly chose to give their lives to Guru sahib. Surrendering their minds and bodies, Bhai Daya (compassion) Singh ji, Bhai Dharam (justice) Singh ji, Bhai Himmat (bravery) Singh ji, Bhai Mokham (determination) Singh ji, and Bhai Sahib (raaj, rule, kingdom) Singh ji did not see death awaiting in Guru ji’s tegh, but rather, they saw and embraced eternal life.

(Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, ang 1412)

With Akaal Purakh ji’s grace, pyaare Kalgeedhar Preetam has provided us with sucha amrit Naam, distinct identity, depthless ocean of knowledge, guidance on how to face and overcome injustices, and instructed us to always sing praises of the Lord. True saint-warriors keep their consciousness attuned to the Lord’s feet, prevent their focus from being unhinged, and ensure that meditation does not escape their hearts. Protected by the shield of their intrinsic courageous essence, their unwavering determination remains anchored in the promise to uphold righteousness born soley from compassion, serve the vulnerable, and only take steps guided by His Truth. Akaal’s warriors of the tegha (sword) always remain brave in battles and sacrifice their praan (breath/life) for the sake of dharam. Even whilst resting, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaaj would always remain tyaar bar tyaar (ready upon ready), and have an unsheathed sword underneath their pillow. Guru ji’s devoted Nihang Singhs have respectfully maintained this maryada.

Sikhs must confidently embrace the path guided by Guru ji, reflect regularly on their rich history, and use their inherited virtues as a lens for introspection, compassion (with internal remembrance of the One), and navigation when faced with adversity. Once baptised and blessed with amrit, divine nectar, each Sikh must follow the instructions provided by our beloved panj pyaare, awaken daily in the ambrosial hours of the morning to recite Gurbani, and refrain from succumbing to the alluring sirens of lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego. An unwavering faith and unshakable spirit is paramount on the spiritual path to the Divine.

As the arrows of separation from the One pierce the body, the river of life seeks to merge with the internal flow towards the Lord, the architect of destiny, and yearns for liberation from the thorns of maya. With His grace, the heart immerses in Gurbani, breaks down the walls of vices, and the subtle lotus flower fragrance of His Naam begins to disperse its indescribable scent within. Focusing the consciousness on Gurbani, lips sing with faith when in the depths of darkness, and let the benevolent light within illuminate the path to brighter days.

Through selfless service, simran (meditative remembrance), self-discipline, unwavering faith, sincerity, and genuine desire to merge with the supreme, universal soul, each Sikh can overcome their doubts and fears, cultivate inner-love that nurtures the seeds of empathy, receive priceless pearls of spiritual wisdom, and strengthen the resilient spirit of an intuitive warrior within.

As the soul steps onto and walks the path to Vaheguru ji, it experiences vismaad (wonder) in boundless forms. Inspired solely by the grace of Gurbani, a poem entitled, “A Divine Gift of Love,” offers words from the heart to those who have been blessed with the precious gift of amrit, and those who yearn to be worthy of this divine gift. May this poem encourage reflection, commitment, and a bowing of the mind to Guru ji’s sacrifices, teachings, and radiant love for His Khalsa.

A Divine Gift of LoveтАж

Cradled in a bubble of love, a sweet child embraced with the warmth of vismaad has been brought into the world
As a light of wonder, he is absorbed in complete bliss, attached to the One
The anhad shabad vibrates through his soul sharing the message of eternal love
Each tear in his eye is a priceless pearl that speaks of a history that only he understands
His radiant glow reveals that he possesses knowledge beyond our comprehension
With him he has brought the gifts of compassion, peace, patience and truth
He has promised to walk in harmony with the Will of Vaheguru and to commit to deeds of sublime purity
As a devotee of Akaal, he has been bestowed with the treasures of virtue, intuition and kindness
These treasures will permeate each beat of his heart
Accepting the destiny inscribed upon his forehead, he will lead a life of compassion and contentment
His heart will blossom with intuitive wisdom, peace, divine bliss and tranquility
As he embraces love for the Guru, he will carry the priceless pearls of humility and righteousness in each breath that he takes
Under the protection of Vaheguru, he will look upon pain and pleasure as one and perceive slander and praise as one
His companions of truth, contentment and self-discipline will provide him with strength and anchor him in the direction of his true destiny
As he steps foot on the path to salvation and merges in Naam, he will pour love into the hearts of those around him
His sweet words will bring peace to the minds of the troubled
His gentle touch will heal the wounds of those with shattered hearts
His smile will reach out to the neglected and less fortunate
He will step foot on the path of righteousness and succeed with the support of His Naam
Forgiveness will be a quality that he will demonstrate to others, revealing that pain cannot afflict those who step foot on the path to Vaheguru
As a brave soul he will possess the skill and focus of a true warrior who enshrines love for Vaheguru in his heart and mind.

Placed humbly with heartfelt love at the sweet, lotus feet of my dear, beloved Guru ji, may the words above serve in His honor, encourage peaceful dialogue, enhance self-awareness, and ignite a flame within our hearts to dedicate our lives to serving Vaheguru ji. May the words remind us to always draw strength from humility, take support and guidance from Shabad-Guru, and cherish the beautiful blessings that are bestowed upon our paths.

Consciously, our intentions and actions must uphold righteous values, share peace and love that penetrates through hearts, and contribute to the well-being of all of humanity. The beauty behind selfless efforts that alleviate the pain of others, heal those suffering, embrace the helpless, and support those less fortunate, reminds us that simple daily acts of kindness and heartfelt prayers have far-reaching affects. These prayers are joined by waves of others from around our globe, reflecting hope for those who refuse to remain silent witness to harmful behaviors inflicted upon innocent lives. By engaging in meaningful conversations and nurturing genuine relations based upon equity, fairness, mutual-respect, and sovereignty, fruitful steps can be taken towards brightening the beacon of hope for those in despair, feeling hopeless, or being oppressed. Carrying the torch of change in our hands to dispel the darkness of ignorance, each of us have a warrior spirit within us that can infuse love, unity, righteousness, and social justice in all communities.

Standing in global solidarity, let us learn from the sensitivity, tender heart, and over-flowing compassion exhibited in all aspects of Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib ji’s life. Guru ji demonstrated the importance of understanding that we share responsibilities towards preserving nature and cultivating a healthy relationship with our environment. By planting flowers, trees, herbs, and vegetation, alongside creating sanctuaries for wildlife, sea creatures, animals, and birds, we demonstrate our sincerity towards mother Earth and flow in harmony with the rhythm of the universe. When treating all living beings with care and nourishing the environment, we in turn receive healing for our souls.

As the sweet author of our lives continues to write our stories, may we remain humble, brave, and fearless in the battlefield of life. As the ink of love flows with the fragrance of eternal life through Vaheguru ji’s pen, may our stories bathe in the ever-flowing sweet amrit that springs within, and our hearts be the presence of His love in the world.

My journey to the home of Guru Nanak- Ramneet Kaur

Sikhism has been answering my questions which were creating turmoil in my mind and has transformed me into a better human being who is more emotionally mature and balanced. Being a PhD scientist, the convergence of Sikhism and Science was revealed to me and made me go deeper into the lives of our revered Sikh Gurus and their teachings. This journey on the path of Sikhism amazed me at every step and I was so impressed and touched that an ardent devotion for Sikhism was developed in me. I recognized the power of Guru NanakтАЩs sacred and divine shabad which has a transformative power and can convert devils into angels.

The journey on the path of Sikhism unfolds the real aim of my life every day and instructs me every moment how to lead my life. Treading this path, a feeling of bliss and fulfillment fills my heart every day. Deciphering some enigmas, I have reached Guru NanakтАЩs home where I have found my own home and an epitome of spirituality which I was searching in this whole world.
I have been raised by very decent and educated parents who have a firm belief in Sikhism. I was introduced to Guru Nanak Dev ji by my mother in my childhood and it was the first step towards my relationship with my Guru.

The poetic divine bani of Guru Nanak Dev ji touches my heart and his enlightened personality is revealed to me. I value the precious gift he has imparted us. The precious jewels he possessed he gave us all freely and unconditionally. We are so fortunate that he has dedicated his whole life for us imparting us the divine knowledge he possessed. He enriches our lives with his bani every day.
Guru Sahib is an immaculate love which radiates equally for the whole of humanity. Guru Sahib is a source of immense love and he showers his love every day upon us by showing us an impeccable way of life. When we follow his teachings and we are recognized in this world, our heart fills with gratitude for Guru Sahib and this quote feels so true.
Bhule Marg Jine Bataya
Aisa Gur Vadbhagi Paya

When things do not go our way then we have Guru Sahib in our lives to answer the questions we are seeking for. It is amazing how Guru Sahib tells us again and again to accept the Hukam. Guru NanakтАЩs Sikhi entails accepting the Hukam of divine and having complete faith in the Hukam. Complete surrender to Hukam is one of the attributes of Guru NanakтАЩs Sikh. Following Guru SahibтАЩs advice, we feel so peaceful and courageous to face the tough times and come out of the darkness. Guru Sahib heals the wounds by giving the precious gift of Naam. There is no doubt that Guru Sahib is a radiance and who goes near his radiance also becomes radiant.

Guru NanakтАЩs Sikh is humble in good times and in high spirits in tough times as Guru NanakтАЩs Sikh knows that this universe is functioning under the divine command and nothing is in our control. Accepting the divine command, the Sikh is in bliss and peace always. Guru Nanak Dev Ji has bestowed his Sikh with the most precious gift of bani which teaches us to accept divine Hukam. Gurbani is a treasure trove of the Gursikh. Through bani, Guru Sahib has shown his Sikh this world and the world beyond.

Guru Sahib through his bani reiterates the omnipresence of divine. He makes us feel the presence of divine everywhere around us. Guru Sahib shows us the right path that leads to the house of Ek.

Guru Sahib has imparted the gift of virtues to us. When we deal with this world with the virtues imparted by Guru Sahib we are honored and then we feel Guru Sahib is our spiritual father and he has given birth to our beautiful soul. When we deal with this world while walking on the path shown by Guru Sahib, we feel love and respect around us. Our life becomes beautiful and we feel more attached to Guru Sahib and our love and respect for him become our passion. Guru SahibтАЩs teachings and his bani echoes in our mind and touches our heart throughout the day.

Guru Sahib encourages us to be a pure and virtuous person. To be truthful and pure at heart. Divinity is in purity. Guru Sahib inspires us to achieve higher standards in life and to strive for higher realms and higher goals in life. Everything that happens in life is according to Hukam and there is something great in Hukam.

Guru Sahib tells us not to follow the mad race rather accrue pearls in life which never fades away and nobody can steal them. These pearls you cannot buy from the market, but you have to earn on your own. They can be achieved by having purity in thoughts, words and deeds.
Guru Sahib through his bani answers our questions which upset our mind and acts as a driving force to move forward with more confidence and purposeful aims in our lives. Guru SahibтАЩs bani gives relief to our upset mind. It acts like a tranquilizer and soothes our upset mind. In Guru SahibтАЩs home, I have found my own home where I have got so much of happiness, bliss, peace and respect. I am so blessed to find my own eternal Guru NanakтАЩs home.

The connection with Guru Sahib is through his bani and makes us go close to his philosophy, his thoughts and his teachings. Guru Sahib gives us the most precious gift by taking us close to Almighty Waheguru who is our creator and our sustainer. When our life revolves around Waheguru our life changes, our way of looking at things in life changes, our life transforms. Anxieties decrease as we surrender to Hukam of Waheguru. When we go close to Waheguru through Guru Sahib’s bani we become stable and enter into the state of bliss.
Guru Sahib has shown us a very pious way of living in which respect, peace and happiness is there. Guru Sahib has taught us to remember Waheguru every moment. Guru Sahib has taught us to be humble as everything we possess is the grace of Almighty Waheguru and nothing belongs to us. We are capable of nothing and everything is happening because of Hukam. We should be in gratitude at every moment. Everything we possess is Almighty WaheguruтАЩs grace.

Guru Sahib has taught us to help everybody around us as Almighty Waheguru is in his creation. Helping people around us help us in serving the creator and see the creator in everybody.

Guru SahibтАЩs bani is my strength, my motivation and my inspiration. Gurbani has given me the steadiness of mind which does not fluctuate and is also fearless now. I do not depend on others now. I only rely on Waheguru and his Hukam. This is such a precious gift which I am not afraid of losing and it will be there with me all the times. Guru Sahib is the benefactor of the wealth which is above and beyond this world.

I have been facing the ups and downs of life under the aegis of Guru NanakтАЩs teachings. My Guru Sahib is my light and has helped me in shining my light. Guru Nanak Dev ji is the best teacher ever who has an art of imparting education with love and compassion that turns to learn into a transformation. My Guru Nanak is the breath of my life and I breathe in the air of Guru Nanak. I am humbled to be one of his daughters and fortunate to have him in my life.

This past weekend, the Sikh youth paid tribute to a Saint Scholar, Principal, Sant Teja Singh Ji, (MA LLB Am Harvard University). A three-day program was organized, to remember the first Ambassador of Sikhism to the Western Hemisphere. Sant Teja Singh Ji established the Khalsa Diwan Society and had successfully proved to the Canadian government that all the Sikhs are highly capable people who constantly contribute to the economy, at the time when Government was planning to send all Sikhs to Honduras. Teja Singh Ji had a vision for the future of Sikhs in Canada and had laid out the foundation for us to carry his legacy forward. The event spanned over three days, starting on Friday, July 5th, with the Akhand path Arambh in the morning and in the evening there was a Katha Darbar and Kirtan.

The main event was July 7th for Sant Teja Singh Day, with the Akhand path Bhog in the morning followed by Gurmat Samagam and then a conference on Teja Singh from 11 am to 1 pm. The Conference at Gurdwara Sukh Sagar, New Westminster, was highlighted with special appearances by Prof. Gurvinder S Dhaliwal, Bhai Sulakhan Singh & Bhai Mandeep Singh. The speakers spoke about Sant Teja Singh JiтАЩs legacy and contributions to the South Asian Community in Canada. The event was attended by many people from all over lower mainland.

The event was enjoyed by the Sangat, with an opportunity to view a special exhibition on Sant Teja Singh Ji, hosted by the volunteers of Akal Academy Surrey. The exhibition on Sant Teja Singh Ji shed light on the lasting contribution to the Sangat of the lower mainland during his mission to the west in the early 1900s.

Guru Nanak Sacred Jungles to revive the green cover & rescue Punjab from Water Crisis

In order to rescue the depleting groundwater and increase the minuscule forest cover of the state (3.52), the Punjab Forest Department and Eco Sikh organisation have adopted the Miyawaki method, popularised by Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki. Saplings of 64 rare species are being planted on a war-footing to revive the forest cover of the state.
While the Forest Department has already planted Guru Nanak Pavittar Jungles (Guru Nanak Sacred Jungles) at 2,000 villages (of the total 12,800) in the state, where 11 lakh trees have been planted.

The team of the Eco Sikh has 15 key mobilisers working across the state to plant тАЬNanak BagichisтАЭ. Planted in spaces ranging from 180 sq ft (smallest place required for a Miyawaki forest) to a one acre forest in Jagraon, the Eco Sikh has already planted 14 forests in the state as per the method apart from additional plantations of 550 trees (per village) in various villages.

While the organisation, which is the knowledge partner of the state government on the Miyawaki project, began plantation drives across the world last year, setting a target of planting lakhs of trees until the time of the Guru Nanak birth anniversary celebrations this year, actively adopted the Miyawaki project in March this year, seeing its viability and effectiveness in small spaces.

Pavneet Singh, Assistant Manager, Eco Sikh, said, тАЬThe Guru Nanak Sacred Jungles are part of an exhortation to people to adhere to the teachings of the Guru and achieve a greener state by the 550 Parkash Utsav. The stateтАЩs groundwater is in deep crisis and it shall help to alleviate that. Two months ago we planted four forests in a month. This month we planted six and we expect to considerably pick up speed.тАЭ

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Jatinder Sharma said, тАЬPunjabтАЩs forests are 6.8 per cent of the total geographical area in the state. There are space and change of land use constraints with 84 per cent of the state under crop cover. Compared to 35 lakh trees planted by farmers in 2018-19, we hope to plant over 75 lakh trees in 2019-20 under the project. With the closed-density method, monsoons shall set in motion rapid growth of many of the recently planted saplings.тАЭ

OMG! I am totally shocked!!

This is insane – Most of us are VITAMIN-D DEFICIENT????
I never knew the KILLER WAS IN MY HOME!

Thank God, this video opened my eyes!

Let the knowledge spread!

A new Epidemic has silently enveloped our lives
This is quite a controversial subject. Watch on and decide for yourself.

It is estimated that 80 % of urban Indian population
is deficient in Vitamin D (the sunshine vitamin) in the country.

Recent reports suggest тАЬ8 out of 10 people in Delhi suffer from vitamin D deficiencyтАЭ

The strongest probable cause is RO Water
Yes! RO Water

A WHO Report reveals disturbing facts
In HEALTH RISKS FROM DRINKING DEMINERALISED WATER By Frantisek Kozisek, National Institute of Public Health Czech Republic

WHO says тАЬIn search for clean drinking water, we remove many essential minerals from waterтАЭ RO Water actually causes health problems

WHO also released a report, after analysing hundreds of scientific studies stating that RO water “has a definite adverse influence on the animal and human organism.”

A similar study was published in Medical Journal Armed Forces India
Demineralization of drinking water: Is it prudent? by Col. K.C. Verma and Lt Col. A.S. Kushwaha

Czech and Slovak health regulators were aghast when health complaints of acute magnesium and calcium deficiency were reported within weeks of RO Water being used in home-taps in 2000

RO Water is mineral hungry
RO Water wants to bond to everything, and it will take the minerals where it can тАФ like in your food & body When it is consumed it extracts minerals from your body
Calcium (Vitamin-D) and Magnesium (the Calming mineral) get removed from your body
by RO Water

Scientists further studied that “this mineral loss was not compensated by our diets……RO water was responsible for an increased elimination of minerals from the body.”
Consumption of RO water leads to the dilution of the electrolytes dissolved in the body water.

The minerals being consumed in food and vitamins by you, are being urinated away

Deficiency in Calcium leads to
Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Depression, Mood Swings, Irritability
Bone Loss, Hair Loss,

Deficiency in Magnesium leads to
Diabetes, Fatigue, Cramps, Insomnia, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and osteoporosis.

A number of scientific studies are published on this:
RO Water may be associated with higher risk of fracture in children
(Verd Vallespir et al. 1992),
Can cause Depression & certain neurodegenerative diseases (Jacqmin et al. 1994),
Pre-term birth and low weight at birth (Yang et al. 2002)
Some types of cancer (Yang et al. 1997; Yang et al. 1998).
In addition to an increased risk of sudden death (Eisenberg 1992; Bernardi et al. 1995; Garzon and Eisenberg 1998),
Intake of RO water seems to be associated with a higher risk of motor neuronal disease (Iwami et al. 1994),
pregnancy disorders (so-called preeclampsia) (Melles & Kiss 1992)

Recent epidemiological studies suggest that RO water may be a risk factor for
Hypertension, Depression, coronary heart disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers
chronic gastritis, goitre, pregnancy complications and several complications in newborns and infants, including jaundice, anemia, fractures and growth disorders.

Our ancestors used to feed on water
Now, RO Water feeds on us

Time to wake-up
RO Water with 50-100 TDS is bad for health

Please consume Water with 300 to 400 TDS only

or adjust your RO Water Machine to provide water with 300-400 TDS
